Who gets to be God

Through out your life
Who gets to be God?
Who do you look to
to get out of the fog?
DO you look to yourself?
Do you look to your friends?
Or do you look to God
To see how it will end?
IF you look to yourself
No one tells you what to do
You go along thru your life
everythings up to you.

If you go to your friends
you have a bit of help
but when you start to follow them
will you think for yourself?

IF you look up to God
You will have love and grace
tell your problems to Him
and feel his warm embrace

So i just want to ask you
Who gets to be God
Which option is best
to get you out of the fog?
